The Seven Natural Wonders of The World and Other Wondes Here-

The Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
I have always wondered about the seven natural wonders of the world, I find them very interesting and beautiful. Here, I will give brief discriptions of each.
Welcome to the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. This is a list of important places and things that are wonders today and are still around right now. They became wonders when world travelers going around the world discovered them and thought they were really special.
The first is Mt. Everest, located in Nepal. Mt. Everest is part of the Himalayan Mountains. It is one of the tallest, if not the tallest peak in the whole world. Mt. Everest is so tall, the clouds and storms in the atmosphere are hindered. Here you see an example of how the peak of Mt. Everest is higher than the clouds. Not many dare to climb this enormous mountain, however it is very beautiful.
The Victoria Falls, located between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe, are amont the largest falls in the world, and definitely one of the most beautiful. People come from all around to get a view of these amazing waterfalls. These falls are part of the Zambezi River. You definitely don’t want to get trapped under the powerful waters, you just may not make it out.
The picture above is of the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis. This phenomenon isn’t located in a certain part of the north, sometimes you can catch glimpses of them almost everywhere in the world, although if you wish to see them, you will have a better chance in the extreme north, as in very close to the north pole. The lights can be seen in many different colors, red, blue, green, and others. They can sure make a dull sky look beautiful.
Next we have the harbor of Rio de Janeiro, or also called Guanabara Bay. This is a natural harbor as you can see with the low mountains on one side, and surrounded by little islands and the mainland as well. It is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is one of the calling cards for the country.
This one is Paricutin Volcano, located in Mexico. Although it may not be as beautiful as other natural wonders, it still holds it’s own. The Paricutin Volcano is a natural wonder due to it’s explosive growth in a very short time. This volcano initially erupted in 1943 and within the first year, it grew to just about the size it is today. Also it is one of the most active volcanoes in the world.
Here, you see, is the Grand Canyon, located in my home country, the United States. It is specifically located in Arizona. This monstrous gorge in the earth is one of the deepest places not only in the United States but also in the world. It covers an area of roughly 1,900 square miles and is up to 5,400 feet in depth. This natural wonder is one of the main viewing interests in the lives of the citizens and foreigners who take a trip to the United States.
Last, but definitely not least, we have the Great Barrier Reef, located off the coast of Australia. This wonder is home to millions of little fish and others swimming around in it’s beautiful reefs. The Great Barrier Reef is approximately 500,000 years old, which is considerably young for a reef this size. The Reef is one of the most sought after places to snorkel and scuba dive due to it’s numerous amount of things to discovery and explore.
Now you have learned a bit about the seven natural wonders of the world. Hopefully they interest you as much as they interest me.

The Seven Wonders of The World-
The Seven Wonders of The World behold the fancies of travellers and interest of historians alike. Built at different points in time, at different places, the seven Wonders of the World are the materializations of some great dream, some great skills and some great labour; each being a masterpiece in itself. Several monuments have been built down the line, magnificient in their own right, and thereby resulting in a new list of Seven Wonders Of The World, but these Seven Wonders of the Ancient World continue to enchant the world.
the Temple of Artemis (aka Temple of Diana), was a temple dedicated to Artemis completed in its most famous phase, around 550 BC at Ephesus (in present-day Turkey) it was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
the lighthouse of Alexandria, a tower built in the 3rd century BC (between 285 and 247 BC) on the island of Pharos in Alexandria, Egypt. It is considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world
the Mausoleum of Maussollos, was a tomb built between 353 and 350 BC at Halicarnassus (present Bodrum, Turkey) for Mausolus, a satrap in the Persian Empire, and Artemisia II of Caria, his wife and sister
Wonders of the Medieval World-
Many lists of wonders of the world are said to have existed during the Middle Ages, although it is unlikely that these lists originated at that time because the word medieval was not even invented until the Enlightenment-era, and the concept of a Middle Age did not become popular until the 16th century. Brewer's refers to them as "later list[s]" suggesting the lists were created after the Middle Ages.
Many of the structures on these lists were built much earlier than the Medieval Ages, but were well known. These lists go by names such as Wonders of the Middle Ages (implying no specific limitation to seven), Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages, Medieval Mind and Architectural Wonders of the Middle Ages.
